Entry-level rail industry opportunities; information session at Howden House on Fri 28 Mar & Mon 1 Apr

On Friday 28th March and Monday 1st April (08:45) Opportunity Sheffield is hosting information sessions for people seeking employment opportunities in the rail industry.

The sessions are to recruit clients for a three-week training programme, delivered by Intertrain, to help people move into the sector through the Sheffield’s Working programme.

Please get in touch with any of your clients who may be interested in a well-paid career with lots of opportunities.

The information sessions – staged at First Point Howden House, 1 Union Street, S1 2SH – will explain what the training will involve and the importance of attending each session.

Key criteria

The key criteria is to pass a drug and alcohol test (which is a strict requirement for the job and will happen regularly).

The drug and alcohol testing day is next Thursday 4th April and the training starts the following week, to be delivered in Doncaster.

We will provide transport from Sheffield to the training site on each day of the training course.
