YWCA Yorkshire is looking for a very special individual who can contribute towards the outstanding service delivery at our Sheffield Service (Peile House), and charity shop. Peile House is our hostel in Sheffield that provides support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and is home to 14 residents. The right candidate will have the skills to provide professional support to clients within a dedicated team but will also have the enthusiasm and creativity to support our commercial enterprises and fundraising initiatives.
The person that we are looking for will be resilient, highly practical and able to form positive relationships with staff, volunteers and clients. You will have a “can do” attitude and thrive in a high challenge environment. You will be persistent and committed to ensuring that clients and volunteers are supported, and able to meet their potential.

Support Worker – Sheffield (Ref: SW/PH/2019)
A permanent, full-time role, 37 hours per week, supporting vulnerable young women in a hostel setting. This is an entry level role which will support the role of the project workers. The hours will be worked on a rota and the role will involve periods of lone working. The role does not include night shifts. A copy of the rota is provided with the application pack.
