Next Teacake Club meeting – Fri 11 Oct at C&G Assessments & Training Ltd

The next meeting of the Teacake Club will take place on Friday 11 October (9:30am-12pm), kindly hosted by C&G Assessments & Training Ltd.

Our summer meeting was a record attendance (we think!) for the Teacake Club – we’re hoping for another great turnout. However, as always, places are limited so get in touch if you’d like to attend.

We’re also inviting speakers to come forward – if you’d like to be added to the agenda for a 5-10 minute talk/presentation, please contact Kev or Phil on opportunity@sheffield.gov.uk

If you’d just like to say a few words, we’ll also be running the ‘quickfire round’ for those attendees who aren’t on the agenda.

We’re looking forward to seeing you over in Rother Valley in a few weeks’ time.

About our hosts

Founded in 2003, C&G Assessments and Training Ltd delivers construction industry raining clients in its home town of Sheffield and across the UK.

The provider runs a £1 million ESFA contract to deliver training and skills development to adults in England, is accredited to deliver NVQs through various awarding bodies and is a CITB Approved Training Organisation & CPCS Test Centre.

C&G works closely with awarding organisations to guide and support both individuals and construction companies through the process of qualifying their workforce.

A major part of its business is working with employers who need their workforce to achieve an NVQ. This is, in most cases, through the ‘On Site Assessment and Training’ (OSAT) route.

The driver for this being Build UK’s insistence on the entire workforce on its sites having a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.

C&G takes pride in working speedily but efficiently to help companies achieve a fully-qualified workforce in order for them to compete and comply with the ever-changing requirements of their clients’ needs, expectations and Health and Safety legislation.
