A&S Transport Training Ltd started up as a company in March 2012 and are based in Sheffield.
The provider has worked in partnership with Sheffield College since 2013 delivering C&G and RTITB qualifications in Warehouse& Storage and Forklift Truck Training.
A&S Transport Training’s first contract was with Sheffield Employability back in 2013, in partnership with Sheffield College – this training was for probationary clients – a worthwhile experience for all parties with excellent results.
A&S Transport Training Ltd are an accredited RTITB Centre and deliver Forklift Truck Training for Commerce, Colleges, DWP, Work Programmes, Charities, Private Individuals etc.
We can deliver training on the following trucks at our centre:
Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck ABA Cat B1
Reach Fork Lift Truck, ABA Cat D1
Pedestrian Stacker, ABA Cat A4
More trucks can be entertained when on Customer’s premises.
Candidates can be referred from the age of 17 years old upwards for privately funded courses.
SFA funding has been secured for the Adult Education Budget for those in receipt of work related benefits and over the age of 19 years old as of 31 August 2020.
Our SFA funded courses, run in partnership with Sheffield College, are running again from September 2020 to July 2021.
The funding relates to the Adult Education Budget, for those in receipt of work related benefits and over the age of 19 years old as of 31 August 2020.
Our SFA funded courses are delivered in the following manner:
Week 1 (1 day)
Monday – In attendance at A&STT for an Induction morning (usually 9:30 to 1:00pm)
Tues to Fri – no attendance required
Week 2 – (5 days)
Monday to Thursday – In attendance at A&STT for C&G Warehousing and Storage, Level 1 Certificate (usually 08:30 to 16:00)
Friday – In attendance at A&STT for C&G FLT Operations, Level 2 Award, Theory and Associated Knowledge
Week 3 – (5 days)
Monday to Friday – In attendance at A&STT for RTITB Counterbalance and RTITB Reach FLT training (usually 08:30 to 16:00)
(if training is received well and operational targets met, both trucks are offered)

Once we have this information, we can contact the client directly via telephone or text and invite them in on to our next induction as well as sending our contact details for attendance.
