Sector Routeways recruiting now for November cohorts in Construction & Care

Sector Routeways is now recruiting for its next intake of learners for the Construction and Care courses with training starting this month. To be eligible for the training, candidates need to be 18 or over, live in South Yorkshire and unemployed.

Sector Routeways: Care

Introduction session: Tuesday 16 November, 10am, at Central Library.

Training: Monday 22 November, Thursday 25 November and Friday 26 November at Moorfoot.

Work placement: Two-weeks of work experience following successful training.

Support to access paid employment – following your work placement.  We have employers ready to take on candidates who successfully complete the programme.

Sector Routeways: Construction

The next Construction course will commence on Monday 15 November. This programme includes:

  • A two-week construction training ‘boot camp’ in either Bricklaying, Electrical, Plastering, Plumbing, Sealants, Roofing, Joinery or Painting and Decorating (up to two options available), plus CSCS Card training, relevant CPCS site tickets and site-specific skills
  • Two-week work experience placement on-site alongside subcontractors to learn more about construction work
  • Support in gaining sustained employment.
