Job description
This role is within the Voluntary Sector Grant Giving team which is part of Integrated Commissioning and Public Health.
We are a small team within with key areas of responsibility and development are:
- Core Grant Aid programme supporting the voluntary sector including lunch clubs
- Holiday Activities and Food
- People Keeping Well ‘programme’ which is one of Sheffield’s social prescribing initiatives connecting people to non medical forms of support
It is a varied role and we expect the successful candidate to be flexible and responsive to a diverse agenda. The main area of work in the first instance is supporting the grant aid programme and also providing wider support to the team others in the council in the management of grants.
- Working closely with voluntary sector partners that we fund, including visiting provision
- Meeting staff / partners and shadowing services including voluntary sector partners
- Supporting officers in report writing and statistical analysis
- Supporting officers with and participating in co-design sessions, workshops and transformation projects
- Supporting officers with their grant programmes
