Sector Routeways from Opportunity Sheffield is seeking construction employers to host work placements for participants. The programme is a great way for employers to develop future talent for themselves and their sector.
The scheme offers classroom-based training to include health and safety and CSCS card, work placement and ongoing support for newcomers to Sheffield construction industry. They are looking to form relationships with employers who have construction/labouring roles available and are willing to offer candidates an unpaid placement to showcase their skills and behaviours.
As a sector routeways placement employer, you’ll build relationships with talented people and help them take their first steps in the construction sector. Support from Opportunity Sheffield will help them make the most of their experience and locate paid work.
Current placement employers have said that they would go on to employ many people they’ve hosted for placements.
