To celebrate its 50th anniversary, SAVTE (Sheffield Association for the Voluntary Teaching of English) is raising money to continue its work supporting English language learning across Sheffield’s Communities.

Individuals and organisations can help by creating a ‘50 for 50’ fundraiser. This involves undertaking a 50-themed activity and inviting friends, family and others to donate money, in honour of SAVTE’s 50th anniversary.
The activity could be running 50km, baking and selling 50 cakes, reading 50 books, or pretty much anything relating to the number 50.
You can do it on your own or with others, and there’s no time limit. The important thing is that it’s something you’ll enjoy and that you’re happy to shout about. The more people who hear about the 50 for 50 fundraiser, the more money they can raise and spread awareness of the vital work SAVTE does.
There will be lots of support available from SAVTE staff and trustees to help you get started and promote your fundraising.
Come to an online information session at either 6pm – 6:30pm on Monday 11 March or 12:30pm – 1pm on Wednesday 13 March.
Use this form to tell SAYTE what you’d like to do and how the team can support you.
