Neurodiversity Celebration Week returns 18 – 24 March 2024

Neurodiversity Celebration Week, this year from 18 – 24 March, is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.

It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, and organisations with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent, while creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual.

There are a number of free events being held throughout the week, including An Introduction to Neurodiversity, The Benefits of Neurodiversity in the Workplace and a Neurodiversity at Work Q&A. You can sign up to the free events here: 2024 Events Schedule | Neurodiversity Celebration Week (neurodiversityweek.com)

Sheffield City Council also has a Neurodiversity Employee Equality Hub which welcomes all neurodivergent individuals. Their next session is on Wednesday 20 March between 2-3pm or you can find out more by emailing callum.morton@sheffield.gov.uk
