Sector Routeways is recruiting: Manufacturing & Warehousing, Business Admin and Youth Programme

Opportunity Sheffield is recruiting for three Sector Routeways courses starting May 2024.

Sector Routeways is a project offering sector specific courses that lead to jobs. These short and focussed boot camps have been designed to reflect the huge growth happening in these sectors in Sheffield.

These boot camps include classroom training and industry work experience.

Business Admin

Monday 13 May (10 days)

The course will focus on administrative roles within all sectors.

It will cover:

  • Communication skills
  • IT literacy

Youth Programme

Monday 13 May (15 days)

Aimed at young people aged 16–24

The course focus will be:

  • Employability and soft skills
  • Employer expectations
  • Job search and application
  • How to make yourself more appealing to an employer
  • Getting ‘work ready’

Manufacturing and Warehousing

Tuesday 7 May (10 days)

The course will focus on:

  • Manual handling
  • Roles in warehousing and Logistics

Participation in the Sector Routeways project is subject to eligibility. You must be aged 16 years and over, and not currently in paid work or full-time education.
