There are still some spaces available for the Pet-Xi’s Football Coaching programme.
Do you have a passion for coaching and developing players to help them understand more about the game and embrace a love for football?
The programme will give students a guaranteed interview with Sheffield United Community Trust. Students will also complete:
- Introduction to Football Coaching – Level 1 – Delivered by the FA
- Emergency First Aid – Delivered by the FA
- Safeguarding Level 1- Delivered by the FA
Students will gain the Introduction to Coaching Football Qualification (previously FA Level 1 Coaching Badge). On competition of the programme and successful interview, you can gain the opportunity to progress onto a UEFA C Coaching License with SUFC Community Foundation.
The free course will cover:
- Matchday parent relationships
- Disability football introduction
- How to adapt your session
- How to behave as a coach
- How to build a session
- Engaging players
Date: Monday 22 July – Friday 2 August, 10 days
Time: 10am – 3pm
Eligibility: Aged 19 – 24 and currently unemployed
Course Location: Sheffield Futures and Bramall Lane.
