Opportunity Sheffield’s sector specific training has relaunched this autumn, with courses starting in September and October 2024.
Sector Routeways are short training courses that lead to work in key growth sectors in Sheffield.
Our training courses include classroom study, where you’ll gain the entry qualifications needed to get into a specific sector, followed by industry experience with a local business.
Our upcoming courses and start dates are:
Rail Track Maintenance – Monday 9 September
Early Years Education – Monday 9 September
Early Careers (ages 16-24) – Tuesday 10 September
Hospitality – Monday 16 September
Adult Social Care – Monday 23 September
Construction – Monday 30 September
Manufacturing & Warehousing – Monday 7 October
Business Admin – Wednesday 16 October
Eligibility criteria apply. Training is fully-funded for Sheffield residents, not in employment or education, aged 16 and over.
