Qualification: Level 1 Award in Business Administration (NOCN)
Starting on Monday 25 November 2024 at St Mary’s Church on Bramall Lane, this 2-week course runs Monday to Friday from 9:30am – 2:30pm.
It offers a comprehensive curriculum to help participants gain essential office and business admin skills, including:
- Microsoft Office mastery: Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams
- Data management: How to securely store, retrieve, and manage digital data
- Professional communication: Minute-taking, writing business documents, and formal/informal communication
- Diary and time management: Managing your time and tasks effectively
- Business processes: Using office equipment, social media management, and financial tracking
- Teamwork and problem-solving: Critical skills for success in any business environment
- Mock interviews and CV creation: Prepare for job searches and ace your interviews
What They’ll Gain
Participants will gain the tools to stand out in a business administration role, plus a Level 1 qualification to enhance their CV. There’s also the exciting possibility of work experience placements supported by our in-house Business Development Officers!
Eligibility Criteria
You can refer a participant if they:
- Are 16 years or older
- Live in South Yorkshire
- Are currently unemployed and not in full-time education
- Have the right to work in the UK
To complete registration, they must bring:
- National Insurance Number
- Proof of ID (Passport, Birth Certificate, or Biometric Residence Permit)
- Universal Credit login or proof of right to work
