Showroom Cinema is looking for film enthusiasts aged 16-19 for its BFI Film Academy Specialist Residential in Film Curation and Archiving.
The BFI Specialist Film Curation and Archiving Residential will be hosted by the BFI Film Academy over the duration of a week (17-23 February 2025) at The Showroom Cinema in Sheffield.
By taking part in this exciting residential training scheme, you’ll gain unique experience and skills in programming, curating and preserving archive films. Industry professionals will share their expertise during immersive masterclasses, daily workshops and film screenings.
Exclusive site visits include leading national, regional and broadcast image archives, such as BFI National Film Archive, ITV Archive and Yorkshire Film Archive will allow you to step into a fascinating sector. Gain unique skills over the duration of a week that make you stand out.
