The King’s Trust Team programme (Formally The Prince’s Trust) is for all young people aged 16-25, regardless of ability or background. If a young person needs support finding their next steps – be that employment, education, or social emotional support – this programme can help.
Team is a 12-week personal development and employability programme, giving young people the chance to gain new skills, get a qualification, build confidence and meet new people.
When young people come on board, they’ll be challenged to:
- Take on a group community project, making a positive difference to the local community
- Take part in an action packed 4 day, 3 night residential trip
- Get two weeks’ work experience in something they’re interested in
- Develop English and Maths skills
- Take part in employability skills workshops with realistic mock interviews
- Learn about your community by supporting others in need
- Prepare for a bright future
As part of the course, you will spend a lot of time developing essential skills to ensure confidence is sky-high for taking the next steps in to education or employment.
