Speak to Sheffield College, Sheaf Training, Choices College and Nacro about their courses and the types of internship placements available.
What is a Supported Internship?
Supported Internships are full-time study programmes which include a 6-month work placement at an employer for young people with EHCPs. They are designed for young people aged 16 to 24 years who are ready to move into employment – and need extra support to do so. During the programme, the young person will have the support of a job coach on placement. These programmes are unpaid and last for one year.

This event is aimed at young people and their families who are considering a supported internship as the next step in their journey to employment and would like to begin a programme from September 2025.
