Thrive Health and Wellbeing Programme starts 25 February

The next Thrive Health and Wellbeing Programme starts on Tuesday 25 February at the CDC (Career Development Centre) on Cricket Inn Road.

This five-week course aimed at 19-24-year-olds who are not in employment, education or training, is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve holistic health and wellbeing, whilst also preparing them for professional success.

Throughout this course, participants will explore a wide range of topics essential for a balanced and fulfilling life.

This program provides a unique opportunity for participants to learn new skills, fostering their personal growth and empowerment and will be made up of the following modules;

Health and Wellbeing:  Understand the fundamentals of maintaining physical and mental health, including nutrition, sleep, and preventive care.

Getting Work Ready:  Develop essential skills for professional success, including CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.

Self-Care:  Learn the importance of self-care practices and how to incorporate them into daily routines to maintain optimal wellbeing.

Fitness:  Engage in fitness activities and understand the role of physical exercise in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Communication Skills:  Enhance your ability to communicate effectively in both personal and professional settings through practical exercises and techniques.

Confidence Building:  Develop strategies to boost self-confidence and overcome personal and professional challenges.

Personal Presentation:  Learn how to present yourself confidently and professionally in various scenarios, from job interviews to social gatherings.

Time Management:  Master the art of managing your time efficiently to balance work, personal life, and leisure activities.

Mindfulness:  Practice mindfulness techniques to enhance mental clarity, reduce stress, and improve overall emotional wellbeing.

Stress Management:  Explore effective strategies for managing stress and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
