
Opportunity Sheffield is seeking providers to deliver a range of employment projects as part of its new Pathways to Work programme from April 2025.
Two specifications have gone out to tender. Geographically Targeted Employment Support seeks nine community-focused/hyper-local employment support services with an innovative approach to engaging economically inactive and unemployed people with barriers and supporting them to get closer to and into employment.
The Targeted Employment Support for Ethnic Minority Groups in Sheffield seeks a maximum of four projects, tailored to address the particular engagement, employability, and progression to work challenges faced by residents within certain ethnic minority communities, with a sharp focus on those who are economically inactive.
Both projects are part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Economic Inactivity Trailblazer funds.
