Street League is collaborating with Learning Education and Development (LED) and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals on a one-week pre-employment programme. Candidates have been invited to an information and screening session at the English Institute of Sport (EiS) on Tuesday 29 July, 3pm – 4:30pm.
The one-week course starts on Monday 11 August, 10am – 4pm and will also take place at the English Institute of Sport. Candidates must attend each day of the programme.
The NHS is looking for candidates who:
- Are 18-30 years old
- are chatty, friendly and approachable
- have good hygiene and are well-presented
- speak good English
- have the right to work in the UK
- have the desire to work in various departments in the NHS, including administration.
They don’t need to drive, but they need to be able to get to the hospital location they apply. Those who do well on the programme and meet the criteria, will receive support for applications and interviews.
Maths & English at Level 2 Functional Skills or Grade 4 GCSE is required.
