Opportunity Sheffield is recruiting for its next Youth Employment & Skills (YES) course, starting Monday 1 September 2025.
YES is designed to prepare learners for work. It provides support and guidance on how to move participants towards their dream career, with an emphasis on achieving progressions into employment, apprenticeships, and job-focused learning.
Course Details
Registration session: Thursday 21 August 2025, 10:30am at Moorfoot Learning and Development Centre, Sheffield, S1 4PL. Registration info session MUST be attended for participant to attend the start date of course.
Start date: Monday 1 September
Duration: Three weeks, Monday to Friday
Location: Moorfoot, Learning and Development Centre, Sheffield, S1 4PL
Eligibility Criteria
You can refer a participant if they:
- Are 16-24 years old
- Live in South Yorkshire
- Are currently unemployed and not in full-time education
- Have the right to work in the UK
To complete registration, they must provide:
- National Insurance Number
- Proof of ID (Passport, Birth Certificate, or Biometric Residence Permit)
- Universal Credit login or proof of right to work
