B2W Cybersecurity and Webdesign course starts November 2025

B2W’s next Cybersecurity & Webdesign Level 2 course runs from Monday 10 November to Monday 8 December.

This qualification is designed to provide learners with sector awareness. Acting as a steppingstone for learners who wish to study cyber security at a higher level.

The Website design element is designed for learners to learn how to investigate website design and plan, design and create their own website in response to a client brief. Cyber is a thriving industry in the UK with a need for skilled, knowledgeable candidates, start your journey here.

Course Content: Certificate in the principles of Cybersecurity L2, Award in digital & IT skills L2, Award in Website Design & Development L2

Course Delivery: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, online via Teams interactive classroom (breaks throughout)

Progression: On completion of programme, learners will receive support and have opportunity to be sign posted to further training in their chosen area to further upskill for industry.

Please note that ideally referrals need to be made at least 48 working hours prior to course start to allow for the enrolment process. Its first come, first served as these courses fill up fast.

Eligibility

Learner Commitment

  • Must provide NI number and ID (passport or birth certificate)
  • Must have access to either a laptop/ PC/ Tablet (with webcam)Contact centre courses can use quality Tablets (Windows 10+)
  • Be available for the duration of the course, 9am-5pm – Flexibility given for school runs, interviews or medical (UC will usually arrange call apt while on course)
  • Complete pre-course assessments and communicate effectively throughout enrolment and onboarding. (look out for a call from our 0161 number)

Back2Work Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the below:

  • SYMCA learners must live in South Yorkshire post code
  • born before 31/08/2006 (19+)
  • unemployed and not studying any other courses
  • been in the EU/UK for the last three years / right to work in UK
  • not already hold the same qualification they are booking on to
  • be available for the duration of the course, 9am-5pm – Flexibility given for school pickups/drop offs or medical
  • have a good level of English suitable to the role and learning (min L1 ESOL)
  • Must meet above ‘learner commitment’
