Autism Plus and Employment is for Everyone launch Positive Futures programme

Autism Plus and Employment is for Everyone have launched a joint project called Positive Futures.

It’s free to access and is delivered by Autism Plus Specialist Employment Services and Speakup.

The project supports neurodivergent young people aged 16–24 in South Yorkshire who may be facing barriers to education, training or employment.

Positive Futures offers:

  • Support to start your journey towards work (with the aim of progressing into a Youth Hub or Pathways to Work after an initial period of support)
  • Confidence building and personalised action planning
  • Practical travel training
  • Support to access meaningful social opportunities
  • Many more bespoke barrier removing support options

Their tailored, person-centred approach helps young people build confidence, independence and the skills they need to take their next steps, whether that’s work, education or training.

Positive Futures is designed to work alongside existing Pathways to Work provision, not to replace it.

Participants who are already on a Youth Hub or Pathways to Work programme are also eligible for this. Positive Futures provides additional, complementary support to help young people progress at a pace that works for them.
