FACES offers free tickets to Next Steps event on Thu 10 Jan

Sheffield City Council’s Family And Community Education Services (FACES) has FREE tickets available for its ‘Next Steps’ open event on Thursday 10th January 2019.

The event is for all adult learners who have previously studied at or are currently undertaking Level 1 and level 2 functional skills qualifications and others who aspire to undertake these qualifications in the future.

The aim of this event is to encourage applications to Further Education (FE) establishments and/or university.

About the event

At ‘Next Steps’, you will get the chance to meet FACES’ dedicated tutors as well as colleagues from Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley colleges.

Both University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University staff will also be on hand to answer questions about the different paths into university.

FACES wants to ensure that all learners are catered for whatever their subject interest by giving multiple options when deciding which institution/course is suited to not only their chosen career, but also their lifestyle.

Where and when?

The event will be held in the Carpenter room in the Central Library, Surrey Street, Sheffield, S1 1XZ on Thursday 10th January between 10am and 2pm.

Please use the main entrance on Surrey Street and go up to the Carpenter room via the main stairs or lift.

Tickets for ‘Next Steps’ are available for free via the Eventbrite ticket management website from Tuesday 20th November.
