Places are still available at the annual CPD conference, to be run by Hepp in partnership with The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.
The organisers are asking interested parties to register their attendance at the Friday 28th June event – aimed at those supporting young people in care/care leavers, individuals estranged from their family and young carers – by June 10th.
The conference will take place on Friday 28th June, 9:00am-3:15pm at the University of Sheffield. Attendees will be able to hear about the work that happens at both universities, the support offered for young people, and stories of those who are overcoming other responsibilities to study at university.
Networking opportunities on the day include a lunch for participants, which will give attendees the chance to connect and share good practice.
The keynote speaker is Dr Katie Ellis, Leverhulme Early Career Fellow. Her current fellowship research focuses on the experiences of young people who successfully transitioned from being ‘in care’ to attend university.
To register your attendance at the event, please use this link. To help with planning, please register no later than 10th June. Please pass on to colleagues who may be interested in attending.
We hope to see you in June. If you have any further questions, please contact:
