Written by the National Apprenticeship Service

The 14th annual National Apprenticeship Week is fast approaching and will run from 8 to 14 February 2021.
For the very first time, it is entirely based in a digital world. From virtual career fairs through to factory tours, the Week has something for everyone. You will hear personal stories from apprentices and employers about their own journeys and experiences and why apprenticeships help to #BuildTheFuture.
During these difficult times that we are all facing, we want to use the Week as a platform to come together and celebrate apprenticeship journeys and successes as well as to say ‘Thank You’ to everyone who makes them possible.
In line with the theme for the Week, we want to #BuildTheFuture, and we can’t do it without you. We are keen to celebrate the the diversity and value that apprenticeships bring to employers, apprentices and communities across England. This email contains some easy ways you can get involved and show your support for apprenticeships and the Week.
If you haven’t finalised all of your National Apprenticeship Week ideas yet, don’t worry, there’s still time to take part. Our supporter toolkits and NAW logos are available on GOV.UK and below are our top five ways you can get involved!
To help you to promote the work you are doing during the week, our Social Media Assets and Graduation Ceremony Toolkit will be available from Monday 25 January.
1. Let us know what you have planned

We will be showcasing some of the best events, videos and activities in our newsletters and across our social media channels so that we can share your commitment with our networks. If you are planning on hosting an event, please complete our events survey.
If you want to find out more about the events that are happening during the Week, make sure to follow us so you don’t miss out!
2. Share our launch tweet

On the morning of Monday 8 February we will mark the start of the week with a launch tweet from @Apprenticeships. Log on during your commute or while enjoying your first coffee and give us a retweet! We’re hoping to trend on Twitter again this year, and your support is invaluable.
This is also a great opportunity to join in the launch day excitement and post your own content, but don’t forget to tag us @Apprenticeships and use #NAW2021 and #BuildTheFuture in all your social media posts!
3. Let’s get social

Whether you want to promote an event you are running, share your story or simply find out more about apprenticeships, we are here for you.
Just search #NAW2021 and check out all of the amazing things that the Week has to offer. Not only that, but the Week can help connect you to apprentices, employers and training providers from all corners of England – right at your fingertips!
