As part of ‘The Law Family Ambition Programme’, an ambitious five year project to inspire and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds, we have a unique and exciting opportunity for an Employability Project Officer to join the Careers Service.

As part of the Employability Programmes Team, you will work with colleagues in the Careers Service and Campaigns and Alumni Relations (CAR) to manage a new networking programme with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), specifically for students from Widening Participation (WP) backgrounds. This will involve planning and coordinating a range of networking and insight events for students, achieved through developing connections with alumni and other business contacts from SMEs in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region. Through excellent interpersonal skills, you will also lead on student engagement with the range of projects.

You will have a degree, or equivalent experience, and relevant employment experience in any sector. In addition to the ability to work collaboratively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders both internally and externally, you will have the aptitude to develop and drive new initiatives to enhance student and graduate employability.
