Get involved and get social #EmpDay21
The day is an opportunity for employment support organisations and employers to celebrate their hard work supporting people to enter or progress in employment. It allows them to shout about their success and drive understanding across key stakeholders at local, regional and national level.
Any organisation that supports people to enter or progress in work can get involved in Employability Day, including charities, businesses, employers, social enterprises, local authorities, housing associations and community groups.
This year Employability Day is all about YOUR ORGANISATION!
ERSA’s main focus for the day will be promoting the incredible, diverse services, solutions and often life changing support our members and others offer to individuals, employers, commissioners and communities.

Tell us what you are planning to be included on our website as case studies, blogs and feature in our e-bulletins, events page and social media in the run up and on the day!
This year, please email the team with details of all your activity with relevant links and all the information needed for jobseekers, employers, stakeholders and commissioners to easily find and get involved. Please email us at email@example.com so the whole team can see what you are planning and suggest the best ways in which to help promote your activity.
No time/resource to plan anything but still want to be involved?
Have a look through the graphics and suggested posts for social media, your website or e-newsletters, we have tried to make it easier this year for more organisations to get involved. If you’d like a graphic in a different format or want us to add your logos or pictures for you – we can do that, just ask.
Do you have some resources you’d like to share for the toolkit
The Salvation Army kindly provided How to run a successful MP or stakeholder visit – a great way to share learning whilst promoting your own offer and value in the sector. There are many small specialist organisations that would benefit from this so please send to us and we will make sure you get a special mention.

In the past organisations have hosted VIP visits, held open days or job fairs with jobseekers and employers, put on street stalls, activity mornings or tea parties, launched reports or hosted roundtables or panel discussions, or simply thrown a party for their staff and supported the day online by posting pictures and supportive messages. We know a lot of this won’t be possible due to COVID-19 but the only limit is your imagination.
