Manor Training & Resource Centre (MaTReC) are seeking to appoint to the following post:
Job Title: Functional Skills Maths/English Tutor (Job share welcome)
Salary: £12.27 per hour
Hours: 16 hrs per week for 38 weeks + holidays (41.6 weeks)
(delivery time and preparation and marking time included)
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated tutor to deliver Functional Skills Maths & English sessions as part of the organisation’s curriculum provision.
The successful applicant will be qualified to Cert. Ed. Level with appropriate subject specialisms and experience in delivering non-accredited and accredited courses at entry level, level 1 and level 2.
The successful applicant will be able to work to internal and external deadlines including exam and assessment submissions. Be able to undertake recruitment, assessment and induction of learners to courses at MaTReC
Experience of working within a community setting and knowledge and experience of working in adult post 16 education is also essential due to the nature of the work and client base.
Some off-site working may be required; therefore, access to a vehicle would be preferable but not essential.
This position is subject to regulatory checks including Enhanced DBS.
