The Mayoral Combined Authority Labour Market information survey

South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority is undertaking a small piece of research to understand how individuals and organisations use labour market information (LMI) to make decisions, inform others and raise awareness of jobs.

LMI is information, resources or materials which help understand current and future jobs in the local area the skills needed for certain roles and the demand for certain employment. LMI is used primarily to help inform job seekers and those transitioning from education to explore more about the world of work The Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to understand how people use LMI to shape future interventions, access to data, purchasing of products and how to best support careers practitioners, teaching staff and other stakeholders (e.g. parents).

A short survey has been devised to fill out regarding how you use labour market information. The survey asks a series of questions which explore how you use information and what kind of information you would like to use in the future.

The survey takes a few minutes to fill in and will be helpful in shaping the future of LMI. The Mayoral Combined Authority claims the survey is not collecting any personal information and GDPR will be adhered to when processing and collecting the information.
