Job vacancy: South Yorkshire Frontline Network Coordinator for Depaul

Written by Depaul

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity, in partnership with St Martin in the Fields, for a Frontline Network Coordinator.

The Frontline Network provides an opportunity for people working across South Yorkshire in voluntary and statutory services who support people facing homelessness to come together. Through this collective, the Frontline Network Coordinator will collect the experiences and knowledge of the challenges faced by people working directly with clients to share directly to local decision makers. The Frontline Network Coordinator will be responsive to emerging themes and create opportunities for workers to share new intelligence, best practice and access training.

The Frontline Network Coordinator will be pro-active in establishing the network across South Yorkshire, from making contacts and promoting events to potential participants through to developing relationships with key influences and decision makers. The activities of Frontline Network will be delivered using a hybrid mix of face-to-face and virtual events, within COVID-19 guidelines.

The Frontline Network exists across the UK and the Coordinator will be part of the national network of support alongside their locally based team. With support from colleagues at both Depaul and St Martin in the Fields the Frontline Network Coordinator will have access to guidance in all areas of the role but will have the independence to lead the development of the South Yorkshire Network to establish connections amongst frontline workers which improve the collective offer for people facing homelessness.

What will ideally support your success in this role?

  • Ability to build relationships with people at different levels, across different sectors
  • Experience of delivering engaging presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Track record of working on the frontline with people experiencing homelessness
  • Experience of organising and facilitating small events and discussions in person and online using technology such as Zoom, Teams, Eventbrite, etc.
