Skills for Security is an Ofsted Grade 2 ‘Good’ national provider of traineeships currently offering training in Mansfield for 16-18-year-olds with remote delivery available.
The aim of a traineeship is to help people of school leaver age, or slightly older, to acquire the crucial skills many employers look for in apprentices, graduates and potential future employees.
Currently two traineeship programmes are being offered which will be delivered jointly together, offering young people the opportunity to make an informed decision on their preferred career pathway.
The Traineeship programme is funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and therefore is at no cost to learners. It is designed to meet the needs of every learner and is based on their abilities. This allows for roll-on-roll-off programmes so no learner will need to wait to start their career and offers both Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications to learn side by side.
Learner eligibility
❑Needs to be eligible to work in the UK
❑ Needs to be unemployed and have little or no work experience
❑ Must be aged between 16-18
❑ Must be motivated to work
❑ Must have a Level 3 or lower prior attainment qualification
