Rotherham Skills Academy is offering its construction courses to unemployed people in the South Yorkshire region.
Learners are offered £40 per week for travel expenses and breakfast, lunch, boots, gloves and hi-vis clothing (which can be kept at the end of the course) is provided, according to Rotherham Skills Academy.
Courses available
- Two-week Introduction to Construction course including Carbon Awareness and Essential Digital Skills qualifications
- Six-week Multi-trade course including a two-week training block in Painting and Decorating, Joinery, and Bricklaying.
