The Sheffield Volunteer Doula Programme’s next training course begins in October 2026, with information sessions running in August and September.
The information sessions provide prospective volunteers with an opportunity to learn more about the training programme and the support the programme offers.
Volunteers are at the heart of the Doula Programme, and it thrives thanks to their dedication and compassion. They provide essential emotional support and information to expectant mums – from six weeks before birth, during labour if needed, and for six weeks after the baby arrives.

The next online information session is on Tuesday 25 August and the next in-person session is on Wednesday 9 September at Israac Community Centre, 54 Cemetery Rd, Sheffield, S11 8FP.
