Tender Opportunity: ESF Positive Change Projects 2022-23 & details of briefing sessions on Weds 31 Aug

This tender opportunity is for the delivery of short courses to promote the re-engagement of people who are unemployed or economically inactive.

Opportunity Sheffield is seeking to commission several pilot engagement projects for people who are unemployed or economically inactive in Sheffield and require additional support to access the labour market. 

The aim of the projects will be to engage/re-engage clients with employability services, changing their existing potentially negative views of entering sustained employment into positive ones.  This project is part-funded by the European Social Fund.

The deadline for responses is Wednesday 14 September 2022.

Briefing sessions

Session 1: Invitation to Tender (ITT) guidance for ESF Positive Change (designed for first-time bidders, or as a refresh in public sector procurement)

Venue:  Sheffield Town Hall

Time:   10:30-11:30am (Weds 31 August)

Registration is required in advance via YORtender

A run-through of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation for this procurement exercise. This session is designed for providers who are new to public sector bidding or would just like a refresh. See the tender documents for how to register your place. This session will take place 10:30-11:30am at Sheffield Town Hall. Session 2: ESF Positive Change provider briefing & presentation

Venue:  Microsoft Teams

Time:  2-3pm (Weds 31 August)

A briefing session on the ESF Positive Change project – a presentation on the project, its aims and the parameters of the tender specification. This session will take place on Microsoft Teams at 2pm. Registration is required through Eventbrite.

These sessions will provide an opportunity for us to bring the commission to life and for you to ask any question you may have about the commission or process.
