The Teacake Club’s Winter 2022 meeting will be held on Tuesday 6 November (1:30 – 4pm) at Event Central, 20-26 Fargate, S1 2HE.
The theme of the upcoming event is ‘Economic Inactivity’ – highly topical with the number of unemployed people not claiming benefits rising to record levels in recent months.
Our keynote speaker is Christina Beatty, Professor of Applied Economic Geography in the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) at Sheffield Hallam University, co-author of ‘The Real Level of Unemployment 2022’ report.
