The NHS is hosting a webinar on Wednesday 22 February from 1 – 3pm to discuss routes into nursing and midwifery careers. There will be a focus on primary care. The event is free to attend and will be taking place using Microsoft Teams.
The session is aimed at young people or adults of any age who may be interested in pursuing a role in nursing or midwifery at some point in the future. Teachers and careers or employment advisors are invited to attend in order to find out more about these vital healthcare roles and routes into the profession, as well as anybody else who may be interested.
The webinar will include:
- Information on routes into nursing & midwifery
- how to become a registered nurse or nursing associate in primary care
and the different training route options - information from primary care nurses and nursing associates
- tips on what to do next.
