Providing FREE SUPPORT to young people aged 19-24 in Sheffield who are not in Employment, Education or Training. (born before 31.08.2003)
We also offer tailored individual support to care leavers to promote positive wellbeing and build momentum in their transition to independence
Vocational certificates
Choose from 1,2 or 3 short courses in Customer Service , Team Leading and/or IT User Skills Level 2 to enhance their CV and transferrable skills.
Employability Skills
Enhancing employment opportunities building core skills to support their transition with 1:1 Mentoring: A dedicated advisor to support learners from start to finish on their journey with PET-Xi. Learners will gain essential, transferrable skills alongside bespoke and flexible mentoring to support in their personal development:
- Confidence, wellbeing, resilience, motivation, teamwork and communication
- Developing a routine, time & budget management and journey planning
- Work exploration, CV and application support, preparing for interview and beyond
- Employer expectations, exploring the sectors, getting work ready
