Project and Engagement Officer
We are looking for a Projects and Engagement Officer who enjoys a varied role, and is as passionate as we are about involving people and communities in shaping and improving local health and social care services.
The right candidate will provide operational support and work with a variety of stakeholders to effectively monitor and demonstrate the impact of our work. They will have previous experience of project support and contribute to the design and delivery of patient and public involvement activities – from planning how to gather people’s views through to analysing data and writing reports.
They will also be confident in approaching and communicating with diverse communities and professionals across different sectors by phone, email, Teams calls and in person.
We have a strong focus on health equity, and would particularly welcome applications from individuals from underrepresented groups, with the skills and experience to work effectively with diverse communities.
This is a full-time post (35 hours a week) and is a fixed-term maternity cover position until 31st March 2027, or until the substantive postholder returns from maternity leave if this is earlier.

Community Outreach Lead
We are looking for someone to join our team who is skilled in connecting with people – as one of our Community Outreach Leads, they will work to involve people and communities in having their say about health and social care services in the city.
They will be experienced in designing and running activities that support people to have their say about services. The right candidate will need to be confident in facilitating events and group discussions, as well as taking notes and talking to people one to one; they will also feel comfortable in talking to decision makers about the views and experiences of local people.
We have a strong focus on health equity, and would particularly welcome applications from individuals from underrepresented groups, with the skills and experience to work effectively with diverse communities.
This is a full-time post (35 hours a week), Grade 3, on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2027.
