Toastmasters, the international public-speaking club, is holding a special open night at The Showroom on Wednesday 14 October from 7pm to 9pm.
The Odyssey – Your Public Speaking Journey Starts Here is designed for anyone who would like to become more confident communicating with others — whether that’s giving presentations, speaking in meetings, interviewing, networking, thinking on their feet or developing leadership skills.
Guests will be able to experience public speaking in a friendly and supportive environment, including prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and constructive feedback. They will also be joined by a special guest speaker who has gone from his early days at Toastmasters to building a career in public speaking and coaching leaders around the world.
Tickets are free and can be reserved on the Toastmaster Eventbrite website.
