Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS) has been working with leading Sheffield employers John Lewis, ARM, ARUP, Henry Boot, Irwin Mitchell and Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam Universities to develop the Responsible Business Forum in Sheffield.
This collaboration aims to more strategically connect and harness the resources of the private and voluntary sectors to be a powerful force for good in the City.
Stakeholders are invited to join VAS and its partners at a workshop to help develop this work on Wednesday 28th November in Sheffield
About the workshop
Establishing Sheffield’s Responsible Business Forum – Join us to discuss our vision and inform voluntary sector needs
Wednesday 28th November, 9.30 – 12.30
The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield S1 4FW
To further establish this we are inviting CEO’s, trustees leaders from charities and non-profits join us to discuss our vision and tell us about your needs. We will then explore how to develop your ask, and what to ask for, so that businesses will say yes and there is a mutual benefit. Please click on the link above to book a place.
One possibility of involving employee volunteers could be to support universal credit claimants to use computers to maintain their claim. If you think that could work, complete the computer survey and let us know.
