Smokefree Schools Project Officer – 0.9 fte (33.3 hours per week) for the first 12 months then dropping to 0.8 fte (29.6 hours per week) £17,972 – £18,672 pa (pro rata)

We are looking for a motivated, well-organised individual who will be supporting the co-ordination and delivery of the Smokefree Schools Project in primary, secondary and youth settings across Sheffield.

The post-holder will deliver workshops, assemblies and lessons to pupils and staff in school and youth settings to promote Smokefree as the norm.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential and experience of working with children and young people.

The postholder will establish and maintain good working relationships with partner organisations, stakeholders, members of the community, children and young people, schools, GP’s and other health professionals

Must be personally committed to adopting a healthier lifestyle and be either a     non-smoker or ex-smoker for a minimum 6 months.

Interview process

Closing date: Tuesday 15th January at 4.30pm

Interviews will take place 24th January with highest scoring candidates invited to deliver a presentation in a secondary school on Monday 28th January, please note that only candidates invited to interview will be contacted.
