FREE places on WEA family history course for clients receiving income-related benefits

The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) is offering free places on a ‘Genealogy and Researching your Family History’ course to individuals receiving income-related benefits.

The course, run by historian Laura Alston, will explore the techniques involved with building a family tree, including accessing census information and searching for documents.

The one-hour course will take place at Firth Park Academy from Monday 14th January between 6pm and 7pm.

Individuals who do not qualify for a free place can still attend, for a £3.50 registration fee.
