WISE Ability has secured a contract that will support people who are looking to find work to move nearer to the employment market or into education.
The provider will be working as a subcontractor for the Education Development Trust, delivering for the National Careers service, which has support networks in both Jobcentre Plus and with Citizens Advice.
The Trust has extensive online, customer-focused digital tools that will enable customers to achieve positive learning and work-focused outcomes.
With this provision, customers will have use of the National Contact Centre, which gives learners personalised and responsive information, advice and guidance over the phone, or by social media platforms.
WISE Ability’s role
WISE Ability will then be able to offer support and IAG to any of the customers face-to-face, and assist them in moving forward in their chosen journey.
In addition to the above, WISE Ability will be able to support the customers with the following (among other services):
- setting up email accounts
- creation of CVs
- support with interview techniques
- 1-1 or group support and mentoring with online job applications
