Securing a Place For Young People in Sheffield’s Economy
The aim of this project is to provide guidance for young people who are at risk of becoming NEET and introduce them to potential progression pathways into further learning, or work including
The idea of a Virtual Youth Hub has been developed to act as a central platform for young people to visit for information, advice and guidance.
The focus is to get them into their next steps ideally before becoming unemployed or disengaged.
The hub will work on a partnership basis bringing different organisations and training providers together in Sheffield to promote the employability opportunities which are available.
The partners will help promote the hub and the neutral brand to reach out to different groups of young people in society who are at risk of becoming NEET.
The importance of connecting and staying in touch with everybody from different sectors is required to help prevent unemployment and to make the hub successful.
We will also promote your social media including the opportunities you publicise, through retweeting and reposting, this will work as a collaboration.
We want to use your expertise to benefit the young person.
Inspire_SY Social Media
The hub will work around the social media of Inspire_SY. The inspire_SY accounts will post and repost opportunities that are available from different providers and organisations.
This will be reciprocated from these partners and therefore brings all the opportunities together to feature on the central platform of Inspire_SY and creates the neutral branding.
We also expect you to retweet/share our Inspire_SY posts. On the Inspire_SY pages we will also tag you in the posts.
This will work as a collaboration so we can reach out to as many young people as possible. It will also promote all the opportunities available currently for you people in Sheffield
The Central Platform will feature the padlet on:
