Seetec Pluss is delighted to be working with the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) to enrol over 220 of our employees on the new ‘Level 3 Certificate in Employability Practice’ qualification.

12 of our employees started the course last week – the very first to do so in the UK – with dozens more to follow in the coming months!

Following on from the IEP accredited sector induction (Level 2), the Level 3 qualification will give our employees the full set of skills to deliver a high-quality, personalised service empowering our participants to move successfully into work. The qualification is fully accredited by IEP and awarded by education charity and awarding body, NCFE.

Comprising 32 modules across 4 units; contracting, action planning and caseload management; interpersonal, coaching and facilitation skills; supporting informed decision making; finding jobs and competing for work. This bespoke certificate will help our employees gain the knowledge and competencies required to be a top employability practitioner and follows on seamlessly from the level 2 accredited sector induction. On completion, learners will receive an IEP accreditation and a certificate of achievement from NCFE.

Amber Reeves, Employment Advisor at Seetec Pluss, is one of the first people to have completed the Level 2 and is now starting the Level 3. “I am honoured and excited to be one of the first few to start the IEP Level 3. After the slick completion of the Level 2, I couldn’t miss this opportunity to further develop my skills to benefit and support my participants.

“I am already a few modules in and the support from my tutor, Susy, has been amazing. I have learnt so much and am already putting this into practice. I can’t wait to see where the Level 3 takes me within my career with Seetec Pluss. I can’t thank Seetec Pluss and everyone at IEP enough for this opportunity.”

Scott Parkin FIEP, Chief Executive, IEP said “The launch of the Level 3 Certificate in Employability Practice with Seetec Pluss is a milestone in IEP’s history. We are really excited to be able to support this pioneering group of learners to develop their knowledge, skills and capabilities and to be the best they can be.

“The Level 3 certificate is recommended for practitioners who are already managing caseloads as the certificate is developed around key themes that allow learners to apply this knowledge and skills in an actual working environment and evaluate their performance whilst helping to support the people who are currently on their caseload. We hope that through this upskilling and improved knowledge gained they will be able to support many more people into work and increase their own career progression opportunities.”

Vickie Ward, Head of HR for Seetec Pluss said “Our staff are our most important asset. It is through their passion, flair and knowledge that we are able to support our participants to navigate the challenging jobs market that we find ourselves in. We have a strong commitment to investing in the people of our future and are proud to be the first organisation in the UK to offer the Level 3 accreditation with the IEP and learning partners, the Collab Group.

“When joining Seetec Pluss, all our employees automatically become members of the IEP and enrol onto the accredited sector induction, which was designed as a partnership project with the IEP and Seetec Pluss. To date, around 600 of our employees have completed the induction and nearly 200 people have achieved the Level 2 qualification. Now, with our first people embarking on the Level 3, we hope many more will follow in proudly achieving this prestigious recognition”.

The Level 3 qualification generally takes about eight months to complete and consists of 137.5 guided learning hours.
