Street League has teamed up with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals to deliver a one week pre-employment NHS programme for clinical support workers.
Pre-course information and screening sessions will take place at English Institute of Sport on week commencing 3 August 2026. Day to be confirmed – please refer on the details at at the bottom of this page.
The course itself will start on Monday 17 August at English Institute of Sport, 10am – 3pm each day.
Further information on the role:
- The vacancy is for 18-30 year olds
- They are looking for chatty, friendly & approachable people
- They want people with good hygiene who are well presented and speak good English
- They don’t need to drive however they would need to get to the hospital location they apply for if they don’t drive
- Desire to work in NHS and if done well on programme and meet criteria, support will be given for applications and interviews.
The role available are clinical support workers and upon successful completion of the programme participants will be offered a guaranteed interview for the role on 26 August 2026.
