Inova Consultancy has places available on an upcoming online training programme for NEETs between the ages of 18-35.
The Chat, Connect and Reflect sessions – to be delivered remotely via Zoom – will help those who attend plan next steps in terms of skills development and employment.
DATES: Thursday 8, 15 and 22 October 2020
TIME: 10am – 1pm
VENUE: Online, via Zoom
Learners will:
- Reflect on individual challenges with the support of a facilitator.
- Connect with individuals who are also not in education, employment or training and share their challenges.
- Take part in discussions with local organisations.
- Receive tips from organisations about interviews and what employers are looking for.
- Put knowledge into practice.
- Win a prize if all 3 sessions are attended.
Course content
Over the course of 3 sessions you will have an opportunity to discuss your experiences finding employment, share stories and chat to others in a similar situation, and connect with organisations to develop your communication and interpersonal skills.
Understand the employer’s perspective and find out what they look for in candidates. Experienced employers are curious to see if the younger generation can help them with digital challenges, such as: Social Media, Online Marketing, Reaching Clients; Online Design and Branding.
Each of the 3 sessions will be divided into two parts:
Part One: Self-reflection and development – sharpen your questioning skills to use in interviews, chat to others, develop your personal action plan and set goals.
Part Two: Get involved in a 2-way conversation with organisations: develop your skills and engage with small organisations to help explore their use of digital skills in the modern workplace. Discuss interview tips and reflect on yourself to maximise your future prospects.
Qualifying criteria
This course is completely free thanks to the generous funding from the European Commission, in support of the Learning2gether project.
- Between the ages of 18 and 35
- Not currently in employment, education or formal training
