Zest Centre Customer Announcement: New Year, New Start.
We welcome the news that following the end of the national lockdown in early December, leisure services will be allowed to re-open, and hopefully stay open for the foreseeable future.
However, this only provides Zest with a short operational window before the Christmas period. It is not currently viable for us to open and ramp up delivery for such an intermittent period during December.
In order to safeguard our long-term future, and based on the ongoing need to take necessary precautions to reduce the prevalence of Covid-19, we have decided to delay the re-opening of the Zest Centre until Monday 11th January 2021.
I understand this will be disappointing news for some, but hope you understand the need to take a considered approach after such a challenging operating period.
We will shortly be posting our timetable on the website to show which sessions can be pre-booked in both the swimming pool and the gym.
All direct debit memberships will be frozen until we re-open. If you hold a pre-paid annual membership, the expiry date will be extended to add on the days you have been unable to access the gym and/or pool during this period.
We will be in touch with our swimming lesson customers to communicate the new timetable including a welcome move back to weekly slots from January 2021.
We hope that the sacrifices we are making now, alongside the roll out of mass testing and vaccination in the months ahead, pave the way for a fresh start and return to a bustling and buzzing Zest Centre in 2021.
Take care all.
