PET-Xi Training is now recruiting for its Digital Skills and Level Up programmes in Sheffield aimed at helping care-leavers.
Level Up programme
PET-Xi Trainingis now offering remote and face-to-face support to 19-24-year-old-care-leavers across the city with a small pot for non-care-leavers.
As ever, its mission is to inspire and empower young people into employment. PET-Xi claims learners will have 1:1 mentor coaching with whom they will work with from start to finish on the programme to support them to overcome barriers and reach their goals – each programme is tailored to the individual.

Digital Skills programme
PET-Xi Training will also be running a face-to-face programme at Sheffield Futures, working with Sheffield care-leavers to help develop their digital skills.
The course will run Monday 7 March – Friday 18 March on weekdays from 11am-3pm at Sheffield Futures on Division Street (S1 4GE).
Learners will gain essential, transferrable digital skills as well as bespoke and flexible mentoring to support individuals in their personal development. Our ten-day programme gives them the opportunity to achieve a Level 2 IT user skills qualification.
PET-Xi Training
Learners will receive 1:1 support from a personal mentor who will support them throughout with:
- Confidence, wellbeing, resilience, motivation, teamwork and communication
- Developing a routine, time and budget management, and journey planning
- Work exploration, CV and application support, preparing for interviews and beyond
- Employer expectations and getting work ready.
PET-Xi claims to provide free lunch every day as well as a trip to Cosmos at the end of week one and a final day celebration to be arranged by the learners.
