Open day for Disability Sport Yorkshire’s Sporting Futures programme on Fri 24 Feb

Disability Sport Yorkshire’s Sporting Futures programme will focus on increasing employment skills over a 15 week period. It aims to provide practical training and meaningful volunteering opportunities for disabled adults aged 19 and over using sport as a vehicle.

The programme will include giving disabled people opportunities to develop skills around the running of a community sports club/centre and to gain practical experience, as well as Level 1 qualifications.

The programme will be running from Rotherham Titans stadium every Friday from 10:30am – 3pm starting in early March. An open day for the programme will take place 24 of February for anybody wanting to come find out more and enrol. This will be held at Active For Life Solutions, Unit 2, Galax Business Centre, Rotherham, S65 1SL.

Please see flyer below for more information and how to attend. For anyone interested but unable to attend on the dates, please do still register your interest with them as they intend to run a summer version of the programme too.
